The Digital Product Specialist is responsible for the roll-out of digital products across multiple platforms, working closely with internal and external partners on projects that are data intensive. This is a hands-on-role and requires a technically savvy professional with a bent for innovation and creativity. The Digital Product Manager will use digital/technology to deliver:
• Extending our brands beyond physical trade shows
• Visitor growth across brands
• Convert NEW digital customers to the physical event
• Contribute to actual revenue growth
Requires a blend of business and technical skills, and to be highly collaborative and comfortable working directly with marketing, sales and technical teams. Must be able to present information confidently, clearly and accurately to all levels of the business. Must perform systems analysis and drive projects through to completion whether it involves leveraging existing software, managing vendor development or developing new solutions. Must possess a selfless / team-orientated attitude, and be a proven problem-solver with a track record of delivering results against aggressive timelines.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Host weekly/bi-weekly digital touchpoint with all events tracking all of the above
Attend / work shows for digital execution (e.g. lead-retrieval, marketplace sign-ups, matchmaking, product delivery)
Technology onboarding (i.e. mobile app, platforms, vendors)
SMEs on all digital platforms and digital products
Assess customer journeys (across platforms, across F2F & digital) with show teams
Push & track delivery of key initiatives (US and Global)
Push testing alongside marketing and report up results
Perform requirements analysis, provide detailed specification documentation and maintain project plans for development efforts.
Develop and manage project timelines with critical milestones and dependencies
Coordinate internal and external deliverables
Communicate status of projects to stakeholders
Coordinate vendor invoices, when applicable, with event and finance teams
Write/create process flows, when applicable, for vendor approvals via global security/privacy process
Share technical skills, knowledge, and best practices with team members
Assist in definition of business requirements
Investigate and troubleshoot data discrepancies and platform issues
Perform UAT (usability acceptance testing) and QA (quality assurance)
Maintain vendor relationships as well as department ones in areas of responsibility
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university; marketing or other job-related concentration preferred
Strong planning and analytical skills with the ability to look at the broader perspective as it relates to business strategy
2 to 4 years work experience in same or related field
Must have a strong capacity for working independently and collaboratively, and have effective time management skills
Expert level knowledge of Excel, Word, Powerpoint preferred
Experience with usability acceptance testing / quality assurance
Ability to multi-task, shift priorities and focus on finding solutions
Knowledge of the digital landscape and an eagerness to learn and grow
Must be both creative and able to work without constant overview
Strong verbal communications skills
Must be able to execute multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with HTML
Creative problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
Able to adjust and thrive within a fast-paced work environment with unpredictable deadlines and schedules

Ability to work outside of traditional work day hours when needed
Some travel is required. Approximately 6-8 times per year
