We are looking for an experienced product management leader, with strong digital expertise, to join our US team.  Reporting to the CGO of USA, you will provide the vision, leadership and direction to drive digital strategy and execution, exhibitors and attendee’s engagement, brand management, marketing services delivery, as well as embedding product management excellence in the organization

As a senior leader, you will have a proven ability to cut through to the core of the issues and focus others on the fundamental principles that underpin company growth through managing product, marketing and digital services, building a performance culture and establishing clear lines of responsibility.

Your purposeful leadership style and strong coaching skills will provide clarity, autonomy, authority and accountability for direct reports whilst creating the space for them to focus on getting things done.

Key responsibilities

  • Plays a leading role in improving cross functional efficiencies by creating clear objectives and lines of accountability in how product, marketing and digital deliver exceptional customer value and supports business growth.

  • Creates a unifying digital vision, energizes the company around digital possibilities and coordinates digital investments.

  • Define product vision, road-map and growth opportunities.

  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.

  • Works collaboratively with all stakeholders to develop a clear and compelling go to market strategy for all products, including messaging, positioning and themes for a sizeable product suite.

  • Invests time to have a solid understanding of the markets we operate and uses market intelligence tools to drive decision-making.

  • Understands trends across industries and can draw insights on convergence over the long-term.

  • Works closely to portfolios and sales team to rethink products and processes, with a strong commercial drive, able to create and maintain product backlog according to business value or ROI.

  • Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new   functionalities.

  • Active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of release goals.

  • Tracks the progress of digital revenue growth and acts to drive balance between digital and face-to-face revenue generation, works towards to achieve the best customer experience.

  • Works against a lean strategy with strong focus on streamline processes that can be scaled to support different needs of portfolios and industries.

  • Establishes long term, robust customer relationships and engagement with customers.

  • Provides data to support appropriate pricing strategy and combination of new and existing products.

  • Engages proactively and effectively with local and international leaders from across the business to collaborate, usher in and embrace product management and digital execution best practice.

  • Work with your senior peer group to remove barriers and identify opportunities for improved operating processes, productivity and performance.

Experience & knowledge

  • Minimum 15 years leadership experience.

  • Experience on engaging key stakeholders for specific change, and drive change through to successful completion.

  • Expert in product development and product lifecycle, recognized as a leading company-wide product expert with strong combination of strategy and execution.

  • Expert at understanding and anticipating the client’s needs to more effectively manage the product development process.

  • Experience on overseeing innovation that represent significant contributions to the company.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Experience of leading and implementing product and digital strategy, with significant increase of performance and staff engagement - ‘raised the bar’.

  • Knowledge of leveraging marketing processes to optimize performance and efficiency.

  • Significant experience in analytical and metric thinking and planning.

  • Capable to build and maintain an org structure, processes and practices and a team that is responsive and adaptable to evolving business needs.

  • Knowledgeable of Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends.

  • Adaptive to different cultures and working in matrix organizations is essential.
