WHAT’S EXCITING ABOUT THIS JOB?

The International Sales Executive for JCK will be responsible for overseeing international exhibitor sales, including managing country pavilions such as Hong Kong, India, Turkey, Germany, Spain, and more. You will oversee and communicate regularly with the International Sales Group (ISG’s) from each country, ensuring they know JCK’s overall strategy and tactics involved in selling space and advertising. You will sell not only booth space, but promotional opportunities and digital products to help customers showcase their brand and exceed their goals for the show.  This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced B2B salesperson who is highly consultative and skilled at building deep customer relationships and has strong communication skills. Opportunities to travel internationally and attend shows in the US.
 

BRING YOUR PASSION AND EXPERTISE

The International Sales Executive is responsible for achieving revenue space and media sales goals through existing country pavilions, developing tactics to penetrate under-developed international markets, prospecting and driving new business along with growing existing business. You should have a passion for solution selling and ensuring our customers have a successful experience.

You will work closely with Event Management to develop selling strategy aimed at augmenting and cultivating international markets by identifying new segments, territories, and opportunities that fit into the overall event strategy and drive continued growth.
 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with Sales Management to develop selling strategy by pavilion / country designed to generate pipeline of prospects and ultimately drive sales to ensure a minimum of 100% attainment of sales target for booth and media sales.

  • Own relationships with the organizers of each country pavilion, whether trade associations or government agencies, along with the sales goals, supported by the appropriate ISG. This includes meeting face-to-face at JCK and competitive events to better understand their needs and apply consultative, solution-based selling skills.

  • Oversee communication to ISG’s of JCK space and media revenue growth strategies and tactics. This is done through an annual show strategy meeting, regular monthly ISG meetings, and daily communication with individual ISG’s

  • Work with the agents that represent JCK in select markets, joining them in sales meetings, coaching them on selling space and media, and helping them close the sale where needed.

  • Achieve productivity standards and adhere to all selling process best practices and standards utilizing SalesForce – including inputting accurate and complete data, managing territory, daily output goals, assigned budgets, etc.

  • Proactively monitor international jewelry business, events, and exports to the US to identify future growth strategies and opportunities

  • Sell at competitive shows and prepare competitive show analysis and reports in an accurate and timely manner, including recommended actions necessary to increase sales from these leads

  • Manage Exhibitor Prospect Lists and manage web2leads, insuring ISG’s are acting on all leads on a timely basis to increase the probability of sales

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLSETS:

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to communicate in a professional manner

  • Knowledge of sales, including telephone sales techniques

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work

  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment

  • Strong problem solving skills with a solution-based mindset

  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize CRM systems (SalesForce)

  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment

  • Demonstrates personal motivation

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel (advanced knowledge preferred), Word and Power Point

  • Two or more years prior sales experience required
