Role overview

The Sales Manager mission is twofold:

  • develop the strategic client portfolio by adopting a consultative approach and proposing tailored solutions,
  • identify and convince future strategic partners necessary to grow the portfolio.


  • Meet basic commercial goals and targets
  • Selling partnership packages and solutions across our events and exhibitions
  • Identify new companies within our industry that we can add value to through our products
  • Attending industry events and networking effectively
  • Creating the opportunity for cross selling and new business opportunities
  • Formalising client needs through effective sales proposals
  • Creating multiple points of contact within our key accounts
  • Accurate and timely forecasting
  • Regular CRM usage on a daily basis
  • Sales monitoring and business reports as required
  • Define and communicate sales action plans by analysing your sector and client portfolio
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure effective delivery to your clients
  • Develop and maintain a network with your clients
  • Be a brand ambassador


  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience within a high value sales role
  • Proven record in achieving KPIs and sales targets
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and problem solving
  • Ability to reliably report figures with a high level of confidence
  • Ability to travel
  • Highly organised with ability to prioritise and juggle multiple tasks
  • Enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual
  • Proactive; able to anticipate needs and expectations ahead of time
  • Ability to work well independently as well as a good team player


  • Events industry experience
  • French speaker
