Retail Account Manager – Luxury & JCK

Job Summary

RX is looking for a Retail Account Manager to ensure that we provide the best experience for our highest end Luxury customers. If you have a strong customer service mindset, good organizational skills, and are interested in being a part of the premier Luxury and JCK jewelry shows and part of a stellar (the best!) team, this could be the ideal role for you. The Luxury Retail Account Manager is responsible for executing on Reed’s Targeted Attendee Program (TAP).  The TAP program is designed to identify attendees with the most influence and/or buying power within a specific industry sector and work with them to appreciate the benefits of attending a specific show.  The Retail Account Manager is adept at uncovering customer needs and developing creative solutions to address them. This position will identify, build, and sustain attendee customer relationships before, during and after the show.

Luxury’s distinguished buying experience is carefully planned to discover and build relationships with a curated selection of the jewelry’s finest designers and brands from around the world in a stylish setting. Luxury offers networking opportunities and upscale amenities throughout the days while providing the best place to do business and forge deeper relationships in a high end, exclusive and secure environment.  

JCK, offers optimal environments -- digitally and face-to-face -- for retailers, manufacturers, designers, and other industry influencers to connect and stay on trend year-round via JCKonline.com, JCK Pro and Jewelers Source by JCK, culminating with the JCK show, the largest in-person jewelry event in the U.S. The JCK and Luxury by JCK shows bring together buyers and sellers from around the world and provide the most important days to drive sales throughout the entire year in a secure environment. JCK is where the entire jewelry industry gathers to buy, sell, network, and celebrate. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with Luxury level retailers - manage the brand’s relationship with these key retailers, determine hosting levels and amenities. Educate buyers/attendees on all aspects of the show
  • Focus on finding NEW audience members- using a variety of tools, research and identify new attendees (new to events and new segments) for Luxury and JCK along with strategies to convert these people to register and attend our shows. Ensure new Luxury retailers (requests for invitations from exhibitors and retailers, identified through research) meet the invitation criteria.
  • Registration and attendance - Develop key customer relationships to increase loyalty and drive attendance for all Reed Jewelry Group events.  Increase registration and verification of invited retailers through deepening relationships forged through touch points such as store visits, phone calls, meeting up at shows and industry events and emails.
  • Industry relations/engaging our communities- help drive engagement within the communities we serve, participating in social media groups, association, and industry events.
  • CRM – maintain accurate contact and prospect information in databases. Work closely with internal Data & Analytics team on list building for different purposes throughout the show cycle and ensuring data integrity. Create invitation level recommendations based on post-show surveys and feedback for advisory board review.
  • Facilitate matchmaking between retailers and exhibitors to increase exhibitor ROI
  • Coordinate JCK “Ask Me” program pre-show, determining placement and number of volunteers needed to serve retailers on site throughout JCK & Luxury, updates to the training guide for Ask Me staff, liaison with Ask Me on site manager/trainer.
  • On site, provide “White Glove Service” to key accounts, oversee the distribution of amenities to the attendees, assist at Luxury Registration to qualify and facilitate those not pre-registered or registered incorrectly.  Ensure Luxury retailers have a seamless high-end experience, troubleshooting as needed.  Assist retailers at registration on site at JIS and all RJG events.
  • Work cooperatively with all internal RX groups and team members including but not limited to: hotel coordinator facilitating retailer hotel accommodations, marketing and show team to ensure an enhanced onsite experience for key customers and the appropriate level of marketing communications throughout the year, sales keeping them abreast of retail trends and attendance information to aid in their sales efforts and the key contact with Customer Service - to help ensure that they understand the details as it pertains to key buyer needs and our brand details.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • College Degree
  • Jewelry Industry Knowledge/Experience preferred
  • 1-3 years of Account management/Sales or related experience desired

  • Travel as required including our shows, competitive shows, association events and store visits
