We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team to work across our Energy and Waste portfolio of events, reporting into the Group Marketing Manager. This is a permanent full-time role to be based in Sydney with the possibility of combined home/office-based arrangements to have flexible work-life balance.

You will be someone who is passionate about Marketing and Events, act as brand custodian for its portfolio, has commercial acumen, who is tech savvy and is good with analytics with ability to manage and implement successful marketing strategies and campaigns across Australia.
Key Responsibilities include:
Develop, manage and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns across the portfolio of events in order to achieve growth in attendee numbers, revenue, exhibiting companies and sponsors.
Provide strategic and operational marketing plans and deliver creative solutions to the business
Utilise websites and other online platforms to create and grow loyal and engaged communities – and convert those online communities to attend our events.
As the 'brand guardian', you will maintain brand integrity across all marketing initiatives and communications.
Work with a centralised team of marketing executives, digital and creative support and an off-shore support team to deliver on these targets.
Focus on establishing and maintaining relationships with key external parties (PR, creative, media, associations etc.).
Manage the advertising budget and ensure that processes are in place to track campaign ROI and undertake post-campaign analysis to determine future strategies.
Produce reports and make recommendations based on campaign and market research results and analysis.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Marketing degree or equivalent, direct marketing qualification preferred.
Solid marketing management experience, including preparation of short term and long term integrated strategic plans.
Solid analytical skills with the ability to analyse and subsequently visualise data.
Experience with budgets and financial forecasting with the ability to deliver on revenue targets.
Strong commercial acumen with sound people management and organizational skills.
Extensive experience of digital marketing, including online ‘best practice’ techniques.
Experience in Salesforce, Oracle Eloqua, Episerver is a bonus
Outstanding communication skills and strong writing ability.
Need a level of comfort with matrix organisations and able to manage various stakeholder relationships.
