ReedPop produces some of the biggest pop culture content in the world through live events and editorial websites, and this job plays an important role in bringing those experiences to life. As part of our marketing team, you will work directly with the marketing, editorial and merch leaders to develop and execute the marketing strategy in order to create brand awareness and drive customer acquisition for our digital properties. Our ideal candidate is a positive, dynamic, results-driven marketing expert. We are looking for a creative thinker and a problem solver – someone who can deliver innovative marketing plans that fans and readers will love and be capable of executing them. You’ll have the opportunity to craft marketing plans that cover digital, traditional, influencer, guerrilla and ‘word of mouth’ marketing for highly engaged audiences.   • Develop and execute the marketing and branding strategy for Metaverse Memberships and The Haul
  • Track and measure key metrics (ROI and KPIs) of all marketing initiatives and proactively keep Marketing Director informed of status and deliverables
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive paid and organic social media plan focused on subscriber acquisition and retention, as well as seller onboarding and product sales
  • Responsible for writing, designing, deploying, and tracking weekly e-mail newsletters
  • Regularly update copy, images, and announcements on the websites and maintain, update, and monitor social media accounts
  • Utilize analytics to help inform editorial strategies and work with the team to provide input into future development of the Metaverse and the Haul websites
  • Manage digital marketing asset creation, delivery, and strategy
  • Collaborate with outside agency partners as needed (i.e. PR team)
  • Create and cultivate a "one team" approach through collaboration with event management, sales, registration, operations, creative, talent/content and our brand partners
  • Maintain an eye for detail and quality on projects big and small, while communicating with the team to meet deadlines
  • Proactively seek out the latest trends in marketing, advertising and experiential activation and recommend how to incorporate those trends into our plans to help us achieve our audience acquisition and retention goals


  • College degree in Marketing or related field
  • Minimum of 3-4 years marketing consumer products, subscription products, event marketing or relevant and related experience required
  • Excellent copywriting, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Must be comfortable building marketing plans for B2C audiences with strong experience in digital marketing, consumer insights, social platforms, brand positioning, and marketing analytics
  • Experience and knowledge of digital marketing and advertising, including but not limited to social media, email, display, and search advertising
  • Experience running targeted, high-return ad campaigns, specifically on Facebook is preferred
  • Professional level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms (including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) preferred
  • Ability to travel 6-8 times per year domestically (and possibly internationally)
  • Organized, detail oriented & proactive with a strong sense of ownership and a true passion for pop culture, fan communities and the brands we work with
  • Resourceful and willing to find creative solutions to help the team achieve their goals
  • Able to adjust and thrive within a fast-paced work environment with unpredictable deadlines and schedules
  • Must be highly collaborative with a “We” not “Me” mentality. Be flexible in your viewpoints, always looking for the best ideas and ready to be an advocate for ideas other than your own
  • Secure enough in yourself to be able to ask for help, say “I don’t know” and always learn from your mistakes
