Sales Data Analyst - ICIS

Purpose of Role:  

We are looking for an enthusiastic, analytical, and commercial problem solver to join our team. As a Sales Analyst you will be responsible for driving analytical support to the sales, product management and the ICIS senior leadership team, with the aim of facilitating better commercial decision making, management of the product portfolio and understanding customer engagement/usage 

You have excellent communication, analytical and data manipulation skills to exercise impact and increase the effectiveness of the sales organisation. In addition you also have experience in data visualization and some basic coding skills.

Key Accountabilities: 

  • Supporting the Global Sales Team to drive revenue growth and market share

  • Automate existing data reporting and monitoring processes 

  • Create intuitive Dashboards and visualisations  

  • Reviewing key trends in revenue, customer subscriptions, and customer lifecycle

  • Monitoring sales team performance and trends through regular reporting to business leaders

  • Manage internal sales systems to capture data from our evolving sales processes

  • Ensuring the highest standards of data quality and standards throughout commercial databases

  • Manage the processes and systems to capture sales performance and commissions and support target setting

  • Manages time effectively, meets deadlines, and achieves established goals and objectives

  • Identifies and removes barriers that reduce efficiency or effectiveness

  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure data completeness and accurateness

  • Monitoring and reporting on sales compliance and governance processes providing regular reporting to SLT and highlighting areas for focus.  


Skills and Behaviours: 

  • Excellent understanding of China sales processes and procedures

  • Solid relevant work experience is required 

  • Analytical skills and a strong attention to detail 

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritise and synthesize information quickly and effectively 

  • Preference working in a collaborative and global commercial environment 

  • Advances user of Salesforce (Lightning edition)

  • Experience working with Excel, BI Tools (Power BI/Tableau)

  • Experience with Alteryx, Data Bricks

  • Experience analysing data from a variety of different sources, presenting the data in a clear and concise manner, and creating actionable insights

  • Experience in Data Visualisation, story telling and building Dashboards

  • Leverage large, complex data sets to identify, quantify and influence key business metrics

  • You will be a confident communicator who is able to articulate the real value that quality insight can bring to the organization, whilst working collaboratively

  • Ability to carry out tasks independently in non-standardized (ever-changing) work situations

  • Problem solving skills based on practice and precedent as well as ability to analyse information

  • Balances and prioritizes competing needs and demonstrates/promotes flexibility in a changing environment.
