Looking for a motivated and adaptive individual, ready to take on a sales management opportunity. The candidate should be organized, a good listener and have experience working across multiple internal teams to achieve magical results for the Vision Expo shows. Leading a team of 3 – 4 sales reps with individual territories, the Sales Director must implement company initiatives, be well-versed with internal systems (Salesforce, etc) and lead by example with their colleagues.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and effectively communicate the Vision Portfolio and RX value props
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales territories; identify and manage key growth areas within existing or new territories
  • Train direct reports on company and show initiatives, as well as counsel and challenge employees to promote professional growth
  • Desire to own projects and exceed expectations, driven by a solutions and Value-Based-Selling mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management, cross-department, and core teams
  • Work closely with Portfolio Sales Leader and Show Leadership to align strategies for core portfolio growth
  • Manage and implement pipeline via Salesforce, leveraging the tool to establish high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency for the sales organization
  • Analyze pipeline and lead data, including Pipeline Forecast, Conversion Rates, Sales needs and growth areas
  • Work with internal teams on behalf of clients to ensure the highest level of customer service
  • Lead management working with the RXPH lead generation team
  • Manage client renewal processes, including onsite strategies at the Shows
  • Competent with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.com

Requirements:

  • Ability to understand the impact of operational initiatives from a sales or marketing person's perspective
  • Ability to prepare reports and communicate learnings. Must be proficient at analyzing data, building reporting and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
  • Proven success working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
