Due to the continued success of our games B2B business, ReedPop is looking to hire an experienced Sales Manager to drive sales across our Gamesindustry.biz brand, including both our leading games B2B website, industry-facing events, and extensive trade partnerships, working as part of our widely respected commercial team.
The B2B opportunities presented by our live events and our digital GamesIndustry.biz trade site are extensive, and this role will require deep collaboration internally with our trade editorial team to ensure we are meeting the needs of the industry, as well as our external commercial partners.
The ultimate goal is to deliver a range of digital and live client solutions that resonate with all parts of the games sector, from educators and recruiters, through tools and technology companies, to publishers, agencies and developers of all sizes.
Responsibilities Include:
Working on commercial success of our trade events and websites.
Handling sales and client-facing tasks, from exploring and fielding initial enquiries, to delivering an excellent exhibitor experience.
Developing existing and new commercial relationships via telephone, email and in person
Support the growing number exhibitors at our events, meeting their needs in advance and responding to their expectations on site, while never compromising our level of service.
Deal with the full spectrum of clients and event partners, from educators and recruiters, though publishers and developers to our suppliers, production and operations staff.
Meeting with and presenting to a range of advertisers, sponsors, exhibitors, agencies and event partners.
Required Skills and Experience:
Demonstrable track record in a client-facing, commercially-oriented events, digital media, account management and/or sales role.
Ability to communicate effectively with a range of games, education, technology or media clients, as well as agencies, operations, production partners.
Knowledge of the games industry, with a personal interest and passion for the sector.
High degree of business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit.
Instinctive ability to manage and grow positive relationships.
Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
Strong work ethic with a high degree of determination and drive.
Positive attitude and a team mentality
Show passion and excitement about the computer games sector.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
Previous commercial experience in relevant digital sales role, with knowledge of the digital sales process.
Familiarity with the games industry, including a personal interest or passion for the sector.
An interest in the technology, entertainment and lifestyle sectors in general.
